Epidemiology, Vaccinology – l’Ecole des hautes études en santé publique, Institut Pasteur, ARENES (RSMS)
Judith Mueller, epidemiologist, and professor at EHESP, is a researcher affiliated with the Pasteur Institute (Unité de l’épidémiologie des maladies émergentes) and an associate member of the RSMS/ARENES team. In addition to her biomedical expertise in vaccination and infectious disease epidemiology, she has developed a multidisciplinary research focus on vaccine acceptance, incorporating methods from behavioral economics and psychology. The aim of her work is to develop more tailored investigation methods for this theme, such as discrete choice experiments ‘single profile’, and to identify evidence-based interventions for improved communication and accessibility of vaccination. She is the coordinator of the ACMÉ project as part of the national program Recherche Maladies Infectieuses Emergentes (PEPR MIE). After medical studies, Judith Mueller earned a Master of Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health (Boston, USA) and a Ph.D. in epidemiology from Pierre and Marie Curie University (Paris). She has contributed her expertise to various committees, including the Technical Commission on Vaccinations at the French National Health Authority (2017-23).
