Camille Casale
Sociology – ORS PACA
I’m currently working as a study leader at ORS PACA, under the supervision of Dr Pierre Verger, to carry out a diagnostic study of the situation in France with regard to vaccine hesitancy and to draw up a roadmap for intervention research in France, with a view to strengthening it in order to promote acceptance of vaccines and improve vaccine coverage.
Through my training as a sociologist, I’m trying to make the link between social sciences and humanities research and the identified needs of intervention research.
Before this position, my research focused on the levers of behavioural change and the effects of healthism on collective responsibility for health, themes that are still at the heart of my professional interests. My thesis looked at health in the training of professional dancers and questioned the social constructions of health in this specific world, where responsibility for health is very largely attributed to dancers.
