Sociology, law – Centre Emile Durkheim, Université de Bordeaux
Currently a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Bordeaux and a research associate at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (NIESP) and the Centre Populations et Développement (Université Paris Cité/IRD), I am a lawyer and hold a PhD in sociology from EHESS/Cermes3 and a PhD in collective health from the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro. My work focuses on the political economy of the development of vaccines and other pharmaceutical products (such as diagnostic tests and phagotherapy), with a particular interest in models that go beyond the traditional pharmaceutical framework and aim to ensure equitable access and the creation of local innovation capacities in developing countries. I have carried out research in Brazil, France, Colombia and India.
