SHS & vaccination network France
In France, as elsewhere, the Covid-19 pandemic has been an extraordinary catalyst for research in the Social and Human Sciences (SHS) on vaccine-related issues. Created with the support of the ANRS-MIE, the SHS Vaccination France network is intended for all those interested in such research. It aims to foster contacts, exchanges and collaborations between its members. It distributes information and news (calls for projects, job offers, symposia, publications, etc.) via a newsletter (registration details below) and regularly organizes scientific meetings.

International friends of the network
SHS Vaccination France
The SHS Vaccination France network aims to bring together researchers interested in vaccination in France. But it also aims to put researchers working on the French context in touch with those working on other countries.
To this end, we invite researchers interested in what’s happening in France to report/introduce themselves on the page “International friends of the SHS Vaccination France network”, to subscribe to the newsletter which will present the network’s activities in English and French, and to report your news to us.
Joining the network
Membership of the network is open to anyone conducting or planning to conduct research on vaccines in the French context, whatever the data and methods used, whether they are academics, affiliated to a university, an academic research institute, an agency, or another organization.
To join the network, simply click on the button and fill in the form.
The ICOVAC project
The project has four main focuses
- The first strand looks at contemporary vaccination issues in the general population.
- The second focuses on collective mobilization and public debate around these issues.
- while the third focuses on healthcare professionals.
- Lastly, the fourth strand brings together actions aimed at structuring SHS research on vaccine issues: the creation and coordination of the SHS Vaccination France network are part of this strand.
