Pierre Verger is the director of the Observatoire régional de la santé, and a research associate at UVE (Unité des Virus Emergents, UMR IRD, INSERM, Institut de Recherche Biomédicale des Armées, Etablissement Français du Sang). Main areas of research over the last 5 years: vaccine hesitancy among healthcare professionals (measurement, determinants, North, South), intervention research to improve vaccine confidence among the general public and healthcare professionals (motivational interview, refutational interview, etc.), research on primary care services (heterogeneity of practices, adaptation of GPs to the demographic situation), care pathway for patients with a long COVID (patients’ perceptions and healthcare professionals’ representations, avenues for improvement).
